Sammy's Special Needs Trust was established by Sammy's parents and friends with the intention of finding the alternative therapies and helping organize the community in preempting and softening the proliferation of adrenoleukodystrophy.

Our Mission to:
- Encourage the sharing of critical information amongst the scientists, medical doctors and alternative medicine specialists in creative ways.
- Identify alternative clinical and non-traditional therapy opportunities for the affected patients.
- Become both the knowledgebase resource and a lynchpin connecting affected patients and their families with the best in class financial, medical and support groups.
- Spread awareness of simple ways to avoid or diagnose Adrenoleukodystrophy early amongst educators, pediatricians, parents, newlyweds, and lawmakers.
- Lobby with lawmakers and through insurance companies to force pediatricians order broad blood test before prescribing ADHD medicine to any child.
