Welcome. On behalf of Sammy Zeltser and his family, we thank you for the genuine concern about Sammy's quickly developing disorder. Equally, we appreciate your anxious curiosity and worry about how the parents and doctors aggressive scramble to save Sammy's life is progressing. This website was created to fulfill several goals and we hope to:
- make the information on the Sammy's condition and his progress easily accessible and transparent
- to encourage the much-needed financial support for the Zeltsers and for the ammy Zeltser's Wish Foundation
- to give Sammy's parents the outlet to channel their trepidation and grief through blogging
- to allow all of you to memorialize your emotional and moral support through posting the comments and thoughts for Sammy and Family
- and just as importantly, educate you about adrenoleukodystrophy, (ALD) ways to pre-empt and even prevent it and to encourage you to get involved in advocacy, looking out for the signs and even to become a bone marrow donor
